Rev. Richard E. Rollerson, Jr. married Renita R. Proby, August 14, 1982.  The Lord blessed them with 2 beautiful daughters who married two great men.  They have 7 grandsons.

He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies and Master of Arts Degree in New Testament Studies from Criswell College in Dallas, TX.  He also received a Master of Divinity Degree in Theology with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX.

 

Pastor Rollerson was called into the gospel ministry in 1981.  He served as Pastor of the Prairie Grove Baptist Church in Emory, TX from 1985-1994.  He began his tenure as Pastor of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Terrell, TX in February 1994.  He has served as:

      

• President of Cypress District Congress of Christian Education in Greater East Texas.

• Instructor of Pastoral Ministry at the Criswell College in Dallas, TX.

• Adjunct Instructor of Human Development at Eastfield College in Mesquite, TX

   

Pastor Rollerson is currently serving as President of the Congress of Christian Education which is an auxiliary of the Friendship Baptist District Association of Churches in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area.   He also serves as President of the Terrell Ministers Union.

  

Pastor Rollerson is a dynamic expository preacher.  He loves the Lord Jesus Christ, his family and the Bethlehem fellowship family.  He has a shepherd's heart and is devoted to the Lord's call upon his life.  He considers himself "just a servant."
